In this activity, we will discuss the newly published article titled “Real-Time Intraoperative Ultrasound Using a Minimally Invasive Transducer During Anterior Cervical Spine Surgery”. The Anterior Cervical Spine procedure is a common procedure performed by neurosurgeons. Similarly, ultrasound has become a tool frequently used in the neurosurgeons operating room. There currently is a gap in how to effectively use intraoperative ultrasound for Anterior Cervical Spine Surgery. This article provides evidence on the methodology and efficacy of using intraoperative ultrasound for this spine procedure.
