    Course Description

    This course aims to provide neurosurgeons, junior academic faculty, and residents with a framework for answering neurosurgical questions using data science models and translating these models into clinical practice. Faculty will assist clinicians in understanding how to incorporate data science models into their clinical practice and to critically evaluate models for their transparency, reliability, and efficacy. Attendees will experience a hands-on collaborative workshop to conclude the course.  

    Learning Objectives

    Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
    1. Evaluate neurosurgical data science literature.
    2. Incorporate data science analyses into neurosurgical practice.
    3. Access data science models using existing neurosurgical data sets.
