    This year’s theme, Beyond the Blade: Redefining the Role of the Tumor Neurosurgeon, highlights how neurosurgeons are pushing beyond traditional surgical boundaries to innovate, advocate, and advance patient care.

    Meeting Highlights:

    • Innovating intraoperative visualization and detection technologies
    • Impactful outreach to the community to be an advocate for brain tumor patients 
    • Implementing biological and molecular treatments in the operating room to treat invisible/microscopic disease beyond the reach of the “scalpel”
